Teaching at Home Oral Hygiene
At Burch Dental, we focus on making sure all our patients of all ages know the proper way to brush their teeth. Here are the basic steps:
- Position your brush at a 45-degree angle toward the gums.
- Gently move the brush back and forth across your teeth in short circular motions.
- Brush the front surfaces, the back surfaces, and the tops of the teeth, making sure to reach the back molars where food can build up in the crevices while chewing.
- This needs to be done twice a day for two minutes each time to remove the ever-occurring damaging plaque.
